Risk assessment  to assist in decisions about a driver's fitness to drive

Medical professionals are often asked by DVLA  about a patient's Fitness to Drive, usually without any knowledge of the person's driving patterns or skill level.

This is where we can help:

• We can arrange a driving risk assessment from the patient's home in the vehicle they normally use and on roads they usually drive on.

• We also include a look at how they could cope if they get onto unfamiliar territory by mistake.

• We use specially trained DVSA registered driving assessors who have a good knowledge of the needs of the older driver along with a basic understanding of how some medical conditions may affect driving.

• Although there is a charge of £60.00 to the patient, we will issue a risk assessment report for the relevant medical professional at no further cost.
